Mike Chevalier (born August 14,1943, Los Angeles,CA. - died June 12,2006, Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles,CA). An American Cinematographer, known for his Commercial and Sports photography. Specializing in Television food commercials, his work has been seen on everything from sizzling hot Taco Bell to an elegant nouvelle cuisne or close-up liquid foaming beverages. He is affectionately known as Mister Table Top.

One of the stable of sports cameramen for ABC's Wide World of Sports. Covering action from Hawaii's Ironmans Triathlon World Championship to the Giant Solom and Downhill Race's in Aspen Colorado. For National Geographic he filmed Montana Grisley Bears for John Denver Specials. Cinematographer on the Los Angeles 1984 Olympics, "16 Days of Glory" and Bruce Brown's motorcycle racing classic with Steve McQueen,"On Any Sunday".

His work for the major motion picture studios includes: "Superman"; the Sylvester Stallone "Rocky" films; Spielberg's "1941"; Dennis Hooper's "Colors"; Clint Eastwood's "Heartbreak Ridge"; Long lens surfing action on "Big Wednesday" and womens track and field competition for Robert Town's, "Personal Best". Chevalier was 2nd unit Director of Photography on the opening title sequence of Oliver Stone's film, "JFK".

One of the original seven Founding Father's of the Society of Operating Cameramen,(SOC).
