V Film
TV1000 is a group of cable movie channels, broadcast in the Scandinavian countries, and owned by MTG (Modern Times Group). TV1000 comprises the following channels:
- TV1000
- TV1000 Plus One (this channel broadcasts on the same schedule as TV1000, but with a delay of one hour)
- TV1000 Action
- TV1000 Classic
- TV1000 Family
- TV1000 Nordic
It was once encrypted with the EuroCrypt enrcyption system, and was largely descrambled in the 1990s in the UK with pirate cards. It was then available on 1W, EutelSat, with TV1000 Cinema encrypted in EuroCrypt S2. The analogue service was turned-off in May 2000, after changing codes regularly for about 2 years, and making it a prime target for hackers.
