Travel to Iran
She became subject of media attention in January 2024 after visiting the Iranian capital Tehran, including the former Imperial Palace and the former American embassy, where she posted about the Islamic republic’s forced hijab dress code.[4] The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that she was not checked for occupation by immigration officials and that this was a personal trip and she was not invited by the government. She later deleted the images of trip after widespread media attention.[5][6][7][8][9]
