Moose the Mooche

This tune is one of the defining Bebop tunes written by Charlie Parker. On the recording, Dizzy Gillespie is also featured.

Moose the Mooche also was the name of a drug dealer at the time Charlie Parker was playing in Los Angeles in the late '40s. Parker was heroine addicted and got his drugs from Moose the Mooche. He named a song after him.
