Cloverdale Magnet Middle School (of Engineering, Economics, and Multimedia) is a magnet middle school in the Little Rock School District, originally a part of the Pulaski County Special School District, opened in 1956. It is named for the neighborhood in which it is located. Additions were made to the school in 1960, 1962, 1965, 1971, 1975 and 1991. The Little Rock School District annexed Cloverdale from the PCSSD in 1987.

Cloverdale became a magnet school in 2000, and now offers three magnet programs. The economics strand provides a rigorous academic program that infuses financial and business concepts in all areas of the curriculum and develops higher-level thinking skills that are required in our ever-changing world. The engineering strand exposes students to a broad overview of the engineering field, including design and modeling, the science of technology, automation and mechanical and environmental studies. The multimedia strand develops communications and presentation skills that are adaptable to all disciplines; segments include video, animation, desktop publishing and graphic design. The school underwent additional renovations to add three state-of-the-art computer labs. Students are able to work together like professionals, whether they are making use of the vast amount of information available on the internet or sharing learning experiences with students in other cities and schools with the use of sophisticated video equipment.

Cloverdale has developed a new attendance zone since the closing of Southwest Middle School. Cloverdale got its mascot from McClellan Magnet High School, since McClellan's mascot is the Lions and Cloverdale's is the Cubs, because since the new attendence zones were set up, about 37% of Cloverdale's students attend McClellan.
