Adolfo Baines Pilart is a football (soccer) goalkeeper from Spain, who currently plays for Milton Keynes Dons in England. He signed on a free Transfer during the summer of 2006 from spanish outfit Tenerife. Baines had a stormy start to the season, as he was sent off in his first leage game for the Dons, after handling the ball outside the area. His performances in the next few games were less than inspiring and he was soon dropped to the bench when MK Dons signed Lee Harper from Northampton Town.

Baines was back in goal recently to replace an injury to Harper, and his performances were of brilliant quality, keeping numerous clean sheets and saving numerous points for the Dons. It was hard to keep him out of the squad.

Adolfo Baines future looks in doubt for next season as MK Dons continue their push for promotion, and with manager Martin Allen having a keen eye for young talent, he could see himself surplus to requirements in Milton Keynes.
