Ethan Robson (born October 25, 1996 in Houghton-le-Spring ) is an English football player who is under contract with Sunderland AFC .

Career

Ethan Robson started his career at Sunderland AFC when he was eight . Until 2017 he played for the various youth teams of the club, most recently in the U-23. With this he took part in the EFL Trophy 2016/17 . He made his professional debut in the first team in September 2017 in the English League Cup against Everton, which was lost 3-0. Robson came on as a substitute for James Vaughan in the 86th minute. Three days later, he made his league debut for the second division against Cardiff City . In the 2017/18 season he played a total of nine league games. Sunderland rose from bottom of the table in the third division. After not being used in the first half of the following season, it was awarded to the Scottish first division club FC Dundee in January 2019 .
