Gregg Doyel is a National Columnist for Sportsline.com. In addition to writing provocative articles, he is well known for his "Hate Mail" in which he responds to angry fans every Thursday. Before becoming a National Columnist, Gregg Doyel was the editor of the college basketball page on Sportsline.com. He has written two books. They are entitled Kentucky Wildcats: Where have you gone? and Coach K: Building the Duke Dynasty. Before working at Sportsline.com, he wrote for the Charlotte Observer.

Hate Mail

Every Thursday, Gregg Doyel publishes Hate Mail, a compilation of angry letters he received over the past week and his responses to those letters. The letters discuss a variety of topics and certain names have become well known for their frequent appearances. Some of his regular readers include:

CT Hoosier - This is one of Doyel's first regulars. He is known for being somewhat stalkerish towards Doyel, once writing him 10 times in one week.

Thomas Burns - Thomas Burns, affectionately referred to as TB by Doyel, became well known for his weekly trivia questions. Although Thomas Burns has stopped sending trivia in to Hate Mail, he still e-mails every so often usually commenting on Doyel's work.

Chris Cutkomp - Chris Cutkomp is one of Doyel's most talked about readers in Hate Mail. He is known for his anti-government e-mails. He is one of Doyel's favorite readers, and it has been suggested that Doyel will print "just about anything with the cutkomp name on it." Some have written posing as Cutkomp simply to be printed in Hate Mail.

Moojj - Moojj has nothing to do with the Hate Mail section but enjoys seeing his name in Wikipedia, along with Cutkomp.
