VS election campaign in support of Unity List

Left Socialists (in Danish: Venstresocialisterne), a political party in Denmark. Formed in 1967 as a split from SF.

VS was represented by the letter "Y" on the electoral ballots.

VS works on what it calls a 'undogmatic revolutionary and marxist basis'.

In 1989 VS together with Communist Party of Denmark and Socialist Workers Party founded the Unity List. Today VS concentrates most of its work towards building of the Unity List. It publishes Solidaritet (Solidarity) and maintains a website, but except for that it has little activity of its own.

VS used to have a youth wing, Venstresocialistisk Ungdom.
