Saint Joe is a town in DeKalb County, Indiana, United States. The population was 478 at the 2000 census.
Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.7 km² (0.3 mi²), all land.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 478 people, 165 households, and 132 families residing in the town. The population density was 659.1/km² (1,687.7/mi²). There were 184 housing units at an average density of 253.7/km² (649.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.49% White, 0.21% African American, 0.21% Native American, 1.46% from other races, and 0.63% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.77% of the population.
There were 165 households out of which 45.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% were married couples living together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.4% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.90 and the average family size was 3.22.
In the town the population was spread out with 32.2% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 15.5% from 45 to 64, and 10.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 105.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.5 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $36,417, and the median income for a family was $36,833. Males had a median income of $33,125 versus $22,109 for females.
