Bruce Van Horn, M.D. is a pathologist from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with extensive poker tournament experience and success.

Bruce is most noted for his 2nd place finish to Huck Seed in the $10,000 main event at the 1996 World Series of Poker, for which he won $580,000.

Van Horn biggest online victory is third place in the $1,000 event of the 2002 World Championship of Online Poker.[citation needed]

Bruce describes himself as "a doctor, not a pro poker player," despite his extended record of success. His hobbies include poker and fishing.

As of 2007, his total live tournament winnings exceed $850,000.[1]
