Roderick Blakney (born August 6, 1976 in Hartsville, South Carolina) is an American professional basketball player currently with Olympiacos BC in Greece. The 5'10" point guard played collegiately at South Carolina State University, averaging 20.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in his senior year during the 1997-1998 season. Since college, Blakney has played for numerous teams, including other Greek clubs such as Iraklis Thessaloniki (2001-02), ΑΕΚ Athens (2002-03) and Maroussi BC (2003-06). He recently acquired a Bulgarian passport, which will allow him to play in the Greek League without restrictions.
