Doug's Big Catch and Doug Needs Money comprise the ninth episode in the first season of Nickelodeon's animated television series Doug.
Doug's Big Catch
In this story, Doug accompanies Mr. Dink to the Big Time Bass-Off Contest, in order to try to catch a fish named Chester, who stole Mr. Dink's wallet 30 years ago. As always, Mr. Dink brings along a lot of gadgets, and overloads the boat. However, when Doug tries to fish from the dock, they catch Chester. Mr. Dink lets the fish go, feeling sorry for it. Fortunately, Mr. Dink does get his wallet back. (But Chester kept three dollars that were originally inside, and angers Mr. Dink.)
Doug Needs Money
In this story, Doug and Skeeter try to make some money, in order to buy Mr. Dink a new grill, after they accidentally break his old one with a baseball.
