Hans-Bernd Schäfer

Hans-Bernd Schäfer (* Münster, 25th May 1943) is a German economist and a pioneer in the field of law and economics in Germany and Europe. He is a professor at the University of Hamburg and the director of the Institute of Law & Economics. Furthermore he is the director of the European Master Programme in Law & Economics.
