What Am I Doing Here?!

Hi, I'm very very new, and I'm still figuring out how to use tables, userboxes and general Wiki markup! I joined because I was annoyed at the extreme unhelpfulness of a couple of articles (Pro Se, for example), with no tags to indicate otherwise, and I figured I might as well lend a hand. I think I might take on Knife as a major project, though really it needs more people with more experience than I to make it even halfway workable, and it has enough depth to be its own WikiProject.

Though I say that, and though I joined the Children and Young Adult Literature WikiProject, I'm still trying to understand how people work together on them and decide what sort of work needs to be done on what topics.

Help is always appreciated! (Thanks to EncMstr for everything so far.)

MY BABY SANDPOOL!

Basic Facts About Me In Lieu of UserBoxes

  • I strongly believe in the correct usage of there/they're/there, its/it's, discreet/discreet and other homonyms
  • Languages I know to varying degrees of fluency include (in order): English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
    • I believe in the aggressive cleanup of English language articles with foreign language vocabulary, according to Wikipedia guidelines on this matter. (Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find this article again for quick reference; if anyone has the link for it, that would be great.)
  • I use both Mozilla Firefox and Safari as browsers, though I prefer the former
  • I enjoy hot drinks such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and mulled cider
  • I have lived in 3/7 continents
  • I am an RPG gamer
  • I recycle (and use biodegradable and post-consumer paper products whenever I can)
  • Strangely enough, many of my interests appear to have very weak Wikipedia articles. Esoteric taste in areas often ignored by serious scholarship?
