Skagen Designs, Ltd., is an international group based in Reno, Nevada. The company was originally founded in 1987 by two Danish immigrants to the United States, Henrik and Charlotte Jorst. Skagen is known for its manufacturing of wristwatches, many of which are thin.

Watches

Skagen Designs, Ltd. makes watches that are characterized by a modern, minimalist, industrial style. Skagen are priced to be competitive with brands such as Swatch and Esquire. A trade-mark characteristic of these watches is their thinness, as well as their unique stainless-steel mesh wrist bands. The label found on these quartz watches is “Skagen Denmark”, and they have what the watchmaker calls a "Danish contemporary design". The popularity of these watches has increased in the past few years. Skagen makes steel and titanium watches with quartz as well as automatic movements.

Other products

Non-watch products such as sunglasses and “menu” collections,[vague] have been marketed under the Skagen brand name.
