Steels Creek is a community within the Shire of Yarra Ranges, and is located North of the township of Yarra Glen in the Yarra Valley region east of Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria, Australia. It backs onto the Kinglake National Park.

The Post Office, Steel's Creek (sic), opened on 14 March 1890 and closed in 1968.[2]

Steels Creek has a community centre at the site of the public Primary School that was closed down in 1992 by Jeff Kennett's Government.
