Martha Kearney

Martha Catherine Kearney (born October 8 1957) is a British broadcaster and journalist. She read Classics at St Anne's College, Oxford.

She has been Political Editor with BBC's Newsnight since 2000 and is also a presenter on BBC Radio 4's long-running Woman's Hour. She was a candidate to succeed Andrew Marr as BBC Political Editor in 2005 but lost out to Nick Robinson.
