Hamamelidales

The Hamemelidales was an order of dicotyledons in the Cronquist system of flowering plant classification, including the following families:

These served as the prototype for the subclass Hamamelidae.

In newer classifications based on genetic research by the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group, these families are scattered among various other orders, most notably the Saxifragales, but with the Platanaceae transferred to the Proteales.
