Trouble Will Find Me is the sixth album by Brooklyn-based indie rock band The National, released on May 20, 2013 in Europe and May 21 in North America via 4AD.[1] The album was self produced with mixing by Peter Katis with whom worked on their previous albums High Violet, Alligator, and Boxer at Clubhouse studio in Rhinebeck, NY. The album will be released digitally, on CD, 180gm vinyl, and in a limited edition deluxe boxed vinyl set.

Release

On December 8, 2011 the band performed on Q (the CBC radio show) in front of a live audience. Two new songs were performed for the first time: "Rylan" and "I Need My Girl", which is featured on the new album. [2] The band will embark on a tour with the Dirty Projectors to support the album.[3] When asked about the album, Aaron Dessner, the band's guitarist, said "our ideas would immediately click with each other. It's free-wheeling again. The songs on one level are our most complex, and on another they're our most simple and human. It just feels like we've embraced the chemistry we have."[1]
