Samantha Gonsalves[1] (born 1996)[1][2], better known by her stage name Samantha J, is a Jamaican singer-songwriter. She is known for her 2013 hit, "Tight Skirt", which has topped international charts.[2]
Samantha Gonsalves was born in Kingston, Jamaica.[1] She resides in Saint Ann Parish and attends the Heinz Simonitsch School in Saint Mary Parish.[1] She was discovered by the Si Mi Yah Agency, while attending a model and talent casting in Ocho Rios.[2]
