Milano Film Festival (MFF), also known as Milan Film Festival,[1] is an annual film festival held since 1996 in Milan, Italy. Founded originallu as a competition of only local short films, it become an international film festival in 1998 when it also started to awards its participants. In 1999, feature films commenced to be shown, and in the following year they started to compete for the Best Film Award.[2]
