Cristian Nemescu

Cristian Nemescu (born March 31, 1979 in Bucharest ; † August 24, 2006 there ) was a Romanian film director .

Nemescu graduated from the Bucharest Theater and Film Academy in 2003 . In the last year of his studies, he made the short film C-Block Story , which received several awards. For 2007 he was planning his first feature film California Dreaming with Armand Assante . Other feature film projects included The lamp with a hat , To Kill a Killer , Heaven , and Human & Bread .

He died with the clay designer Andrei Toncu in Bucharest on August 24, 2006 in a traffic accident. Nemescu was the son of the Romanian composer Octavian Nemescu .
