The Gay Times is the United Kingdom's leading gay magazine, for gay and bisexual men.

It is run by Millivres Prowler Group Ltd. and has a sister paper - Diva - for lesbians. The first issue of the Gay Times appeared in 1984, when it was created from HIM magazine which had started in 1975. Its main rival magazine is Attitude. Today it is one of Europe's leading gay magazines, and the largest per edition in the world.

It features gay news and current events, interviews, photo portraits of men, male art, an agony aunt section, personal ads, and sections on music, film, literature, and the internet, from a left of centre point of view. It also features softcore pornographic advertisements and a large directory section, including ads for escort services, counselling services and phone lines. It is largely seen as more political and less sexy than Attitude, which tends to appeal to a younger audience.

In September 2004 Gay Times had a controversial advertising campaign on the London Underground with pictures of their September issue front cover, that proved popular with Gay Times readers.
