Joshua M. Osich (born September 3, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Career
Osich played college baseball at Oregon State University. He missed the 2010 season, recovering from Tommy John Surgery.[1] Despite the injury, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the seventh round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.[2] He did not sign and returned to Oregon State. In his final season at Oregon State in 2011 he threw a no-hitter against UCLA.[3] He was then drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the sixth round of the 2011 MLB Draft and signed.
Osich was called up to the majors for the first time on July 3, 2015.[4]
