St James's Cemetery Liverpool England. In 1825 the quarry was exahusted and the corporation was left to find a use for the site. It raised £20,0 and architect John Foster to design a cemetery along the lines of the Pere la Chaise, Paris. St.James's church gave it's name to the hill and the Cemetery.

The Cemetery was closed and is now St.James's Gardens.
