Karl Maurits "Kalle" Nieminen (born 26 April 1878, Asikkala; presumed dead 1 January 1971) was a Finnish long-distance runner, who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics.
He won the first marathon race held in Finland on 16 September 1906. In the Olympic marathon of 1908 he placed 10th with a time 3:09:50.8.
His record on the marathon was 2:50:48, and on 40.2 km run 2:42:50.
He emigrated to the United States in 1909, earning a living first as a professional runner, then an entrepreneur.
He was declared dead on 3 February 1971, death date decreed to 1 January 1971.
