Denis Godeas (born 27 July, 1975 in Cormons, Gorizia) is an Italian football (soccer) striker. He currently plays for A.C. Mantova, on loan from Chievo.
Football career
Early years
He started his career at U.S. Triestina Calcio. Expect one appearance for Udinese in Serie B, he spent his early career at Serie C1 (1991-1998), and Serie C2 (1999).
Back to Serie B
He joined Treviso in summer 1999. After played his second Serie B season, he joined Messina in Serie C1. He helped the team promoted to Serie B, and played his third Serie B seson for the Sicily club, scored 15 goals.
First taste of top division
He was signed by newly promoted Serie A team Como in 2002. But loaned back to Serie B in the second half of season.
Back to Triestina, again
He return to his first professional club Triestina for the second time in 2003, this time in Serie B, and played another 2 and a half Serie B season before signed by Serie A team Palermo in January 2006.
Late days of career
He made 15 appearances for Palermo, and joined Chievo in summer 2006, invloved in the transfer of Amauri.
After 5 appearances for Chievo, he joined A.C. Mantova on loan.
