Arun Phadke is a University Distinguished Professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech.[1]
Biography
Phadke received his Bachelor of Sciences degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, his Masters from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (1964). After working in the electric power industry at Allis-Chalmers[2] and American Electric Power,[3] Dr. Phadke took up a faculty position at Virginia Tech.
