Bruce Beemer is an American politician who is currently Pennsylvania's Attorney General. [2]

Career

A longtime attorney, Beemer first entered Attorney General's office in 2011 as Linda L. Kelly's chief of staff, Kathleen Kane retained Beemer as a staff when Kane was elected to the office of Attorney General. Beemer was subsequently promoted to first deputy attorney general. In July 2016, Governor Tom Wolf appointed Beemer to the office of Pennsylvania Inspector General, but having taken office less than a month, [3]Wolf was nominated to replace Kathleen Kane, who was convicted on felony charges and subsequently resigned. Beemer was unanimously confirmed by the State Senate and took office on August 31.
