Dnevnik (Дневник), lit. Daily news, is a Serbian language newspaper, published in Novi Sad, Serbia and Montenegro. Newspaper was founded during the Axis occupation in 1942, and its first name was Slobodna Vojvodina (Free Vojvodina). The first issue of Slobodna Vojvodina was published on November 15, 1942 as a organ of the provincial people's liberation board for Vojvodina in illegal printing house in Novi Sad.

On January 1, 1953, the name of the newspaper was officially changed into Dnevnik. Its first editor was Svetozar Marković Toza, a people's hero, who was executed by the Axis occupation authorities on February 9, 1943.
