Dobrava pri Kostanjevici is a settlement on the right bank of the Krka River in the Municipality of Kostanjevica na Krki in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[2]
Name
The name of the settlement was changed from Dobrava to Dobrava pri Kostanjevici in 1953.[3]
Cultural heritage
There is an Early Baroque mansion with a surrounding park in the settlement. It used to belong to the monastery in Kostanjevica.[4] There is also a small chapel-shrine in the village. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was built in the early 20th century.[5]
