Oštrc

Oštrc (Eng. Osterberg in the Lower Carniola ) is a small town in southeastern Slovenia .

It is located in the Žumberak Mountains (German: Sichelgebirge ) and is fifteen kilometers northwest of Krašić . The village is made up of the two districts Gornji and Dojni Oštrc (the Upper and Lower Oštrc). The medieval parish church of St. Maria Magdalena , which was further expanded in 1827, is worth seeing . The current rectory was built by the Roman Catholic Bishop Čolnić in 1752.
