Fir For Rivals is the American punk-rock band, founded in 2006 in Jacksonville.

His first official single "Damage" the band released in 2009. The second single Crash for the first time appeared in the soundtrack of «WWE: Over The Limit». Also this song was mentioned in the movie «Legendary». In 2010, Fit For Rivals wrote over 60 songs. In the same year, was recorded only 5 of them. Work on their first album, «Was That Our Youth? EP» and the next Studio album «Steady Damage» (released in 2009) were carried out from 2006 to 2011.

The members of the group say that they are working on a new album, and it is expected that it will be released at the end of 2012. But now there is a new feature: the group has the possibility to go to the Nashville, to work with the same publisher, which worked with 30 Seconds To Mars, Deftones, Korn, Evanescence, and many other famous rock-groups.

Previously Renni Phoenix was a soloist and guitarist of "The Explicits", which released one album («No Remorse», 2007). Two songs from the album («Hallelujah» and «Suffocate») is also included into the album «Steady Damage», but the name of the second song was changed to «Get With Me».

Also the group undergone small changes in the lyrics, as the entry of the song «Hallelujah». Working in "The Explicits", Reni used, mainly, screaming. After long training she was able «to control her voice», so it is not difficult to move from a clean vocals to the extraordinary female voice, or as it still be called, the «male».
