Franco Reviglio is an Italian academic, businessman and socialist politician, who served in various capacities of federal administration of Italy.

Career

Reviglio was the president of ENI before assuming cabinet posts.[1] He firstly served as budget minister in the Cabinet led by prime minister Giuliano Amato.[2] His tenure lasted until February 1993, and he was replaced by Beniamino Andreatta as budget minister.[2] Reviglio was appointed finance minister in a cabinet reshuffle in February 1993.[2] He succeeded Giovanni Goria in the post.[2] Reviglio resigned from office on 31 March 1993 due to his alleged involvement in bribery scandal.[3] He also served as a senator.[4]

Reviglio is the professor of public finance at the University of Turin.[4] He is also the president and CEO of AEM Torino (Turin Energy Company) as well as the president of NNOICOM, TLC company.[4]
