Halieutopsis margaretae, also known as Margaret's deepsea batfish, is a species of fish in the family Ogcocephalidae.[2]

It is found in the north-western-central Pacific Ocean including Japan, Taiwan and Hawaii.

Description[edit]

This species reaches a length of 6.4 cm (2.5 in).[3]

Etymology[edit]

The fish is named in honor of Professor Margaret G. Bradbury.[3]
