Hotten is a fictional town in the popular British soap opera Emmerdale. It is fictionally located in West Yorkshire, and is 7 miles away from Emmerdale. It is the village's local town, and is often where most scenes outside the village take place. It has it's own newspaper called the Hotten Courier, which is the local paper for Emmerdale.
