ICM Research is a public opinion researcher registered in England and Wales (number 02571387) established in 1989. It is a subsidiary of Creston plc, a marketing services company.

Business

ICM Group is a full-service market research and insights consultancy working globally across sectors and markets. The group is formed of ICM Research and ICM Direct.

ICM Research conducts research using a full range of methodologies. Supported by online and telephone data collection and face-to-face services from ICM Direct.

ICM's strapline is "Clear thinking in a complex world" and their website is at www.icmresearch.com

ICM conducts polling research for, in particular, The Guardian, The Scotsman and The Sunday Telegraph, and in the past for the News of the World. ICM is a member of the British Polling Council.[1]

History

When ICM was initially set up it stood for Independent Communications and Marketing. Over time ICM became the brand and it is now commonly referred to as that.
