The Little Giant Ladder System is a convertible ladder system manufactured by Wing Enterprises in Springville, Utah. The founder of Wing Enterprises, Harold Ray Wing (aka Hal Wing), came across a prototype of the ladder in Germany in the 1970s. After obtaining patent rights in the United States, Wing began manufacturing the ladder in his home and selling it at trade shows. As the demand grew, so did the manufacturing operations.

The ladder itself converts into several heights and configurations from a single ladder. The ladder can convert into a straight or extension ladder, an A-frame ladder, a staircase ladder (an uneven A-frame for use on stairs), a 90° ladder, and both sides of a scaffolding trestle. Each of the ladder positions has three heights in one ladder. The Little Giant Ladder System can achieve as many as 24 position/height combinations. The ladder folds to a convenient size for storage. The ladder also has "tip-n-glide" wheels for easy movement of the ladder.

The Little Giant Ladder System features flared legs for increased stability. It is made of heavy-wall aluminium. A patented triple locking hinge with side push button release mechanisms allow the ladder to achieve 3 different angles (storage, A frame, and Extension) Locking, telescoping side rails allow the various height configurations. Trapezoidal rungs create a stable standing surface. They are attached using "double zig-zag" welds. Recent tests have proven that the welds are stronger than even the boxed construction of the side rails. The Hinge is the strongest part of the ladder.

The Little Giant comes in three different classifications: Type I (rated for up to 250 lb. capacity), Type IA (rated for up to 300 lb. capacity) and Type IAA (rated for up to 375 lb. capacity [discontinued]). Type I is available in four heights, Type IA in four heights. Wing Enterprises also offers a ladder called the SkyScraper, a convertible, "A" Frame Ladder for high work. They also offer the Little Jumbo Safety Step Ladder. And the Ultra Step, one sided A frame. They also offer fiberglass ladders which they call, The UltraLite.

Wing enterprises produes many Ladder accesories, such as, A work platform, a wall stand off, a teloscopic plank, and more.

The Little Giant Ladder System also has an informercial starring founder Hal Wing, Richard Karn and Robin Hartl. Touting the Little Giant as "The Strongest, Safest, Most Versatile Ladder in the World"™. The Little Giant Ladder System is also available online and through retail outlets.

Harold Ray Wing is the Chairman of the board for Wing Enterprises, H. Arthur Wing is the Executive President, Douglas R. Wing is Executive VP, Ryan Moss is CEO.
