Plot summary

Suze’s new life in California is looking up. Cool friends, pool parties, good-hair days, and her male room-mate, Jesse, who happens to be a nineteenth-century hottie. Best of all Tad, the cutest boy in town, just asked her out!

Then a screaming spirit wakes Suze in the middle of the night, with a very important message for 'Red'. Suddenly she’s on the trail of a creepy local businessman, who happens to be Tad's father, and she is beginning to notice vampire-like actions. Between trying to maintain her life as she knows it, and keeping up with the case of the myserious woman asking for 'Red', Suze starts to wonder if Mr.Beaumaunt is really the right person...
