Meggin "Meg" Patricia Cabot (born February 1, 1967 in Bloomington , Indiana ; pseudonyms also Jenny Carroll and Patricia Cabot ) is an American author and illustrator .

Life

After completing her studies, she hoped for a career as a designer in New York, while doing a job in a dormitory and writing her first novel on the side. After studying philology , Cabot first worked as an illustrator before writing some historical women's novels under the pseudonym Patricia Cabot . Meg Cabot has now written more than forty novels, including the successful children's book series Suddenly Princess . The books Suddenly Princess and Power, Princess were both filmed by director Garry Marshall under the titles Suddenly Princess and Suddenly Princess 2 . Meg Cabot married in a small village in Italy and lives in New York City with her husband and two cats .
