Mojanbo (モジャンボ) is one of the Template:Pokenum fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Mojanbo in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

Its Japanese name comes from the Japanese words for shaggy (mojamoja), and jumbo (janbo).

Biological characteristics

Mojanbo, like Tangela, is mostly covered in thick, curly blue vines. As with Tangela, its white eyes are visible beneath them. It has thick, black legs with rounded pink feet. It also has two long arms with three fingers each, with males having pink tips only and females having pink on nearly the entire finger. Overall, it seems more solid than Tangela, and the shape of its body is much clearer.

In the video games

Mojanbo, one of the Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl versions of the series, evolves from a Tangela that knows the move Ancient Power, newly added to its list of moves, while leveling up.

Mojanbo has very high Special Attack, Defense stats, Hit Points and Attack stats. However, its Special Defense and Speed are both poor.
