Rydens is a business and enterprise school in Hersham, Surrey, England. The school's current head teacher is Mark Jackman.

The school has recently introduced a system of four houses: Claremont, Hampton, Richmond and Windsor - named after local places. Claremont was the first house to win sports day, as well as the house point cup, since the house system was introduced. The school's official motto is "Do Ut Des", meaning "I give that you may give" in Latin.

Drama

Rydens School runs several drama productions throughout the school year, including school musical, A straight play and a leaver's play for students who are in years 11 and 13. Also a 'stars in their eyes' themed music night is run , with the winner picked by a selection of judges (simon cowell appeared as one). All productions are run annually.

The main focus of the school's drama production is the musical. In previous years Rydens has put on such musicals as Les Miserables, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. These shows are renowned for the high quality of acting and standard of production, and are accompanied by large stage and technical crews.

Many prominent student actors are also members of nearby Elmbridge Youth Theatre, run by former Rydens teachers Richard Davis and Carol Andrews.

The school has also won a national amateur theatre award - which also includes adult theater, making the achievement more significant. The school finished runner up the following year. The competition is no longer run.

Many former drama students from Rydens have achieved credible careers in theater including one staring in the West End show of Les Miserables and another currently on crew for Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera
