The Lincoln C is a concept car manufactured by the Lincoln division of Ford, which was unveiled at the 2009 North American International Auto Show.[1]
It included a 1.6L EcoBoost engine rated at 180hp and 180 ft.-lbs. of torque, with a dry dual-clutch PowerShift 6-speed transmission. The Ford Sync system features a female avatar called Eva, which can be customized.[2]
A production version of the Lincoln C concept has not been officially announced or unveiled, but the concept remains on the official Lincoln web site as a "future vehicle"[3]. With Ford having canceled the Mercury brand and investing heavily in Lincoln[4], a Focus-based compact Lincoln is expected to appear for the 2013 model year.[5][6]
