骆宾王 Luo Binwang (around 626--around 684) of the Tang Dynasty, born at Yiwu, Wuzhou, Zhejiang Province, was regarded as one of the most preeminent Four Poets of the Early Tang Dynasty, the other three being Wang Bo, Yang Jiong and Lu Zhaolin. It is assumed that he wrote this poem at 7.
