According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.3 km²), all of it land.

History

The first rail service in Tipton County was established in December 1855, when the Memphis and Ohio Railroad completed the route from Memphis to Nashville, running through what is now the town of Mason.[1]
