Matthew Dobson (born 16 December 1986) is a South African rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is hooker. He represented Template:Rut Griquas in the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions between 2011 and 2013, having previously played for Template:Rut Maties in the Varsity Cup between 2008 and 2010.

He left Template:Rut Griquas at the start of 2014 to continue his playing career in England.[1]
