Megalosaurids were a subfamily of Allosauridae, order Saurischia. These dinosaurs were small to large carnivorous dinosaurs with sharp teeth, and three claws on each hand. Some members of this group include Megalosaurus and Eustreptospondylus. Megalosaurids only lived in the mid to late Jurassic times in Europe.
