Mike Schuler is a former head coach in the National Basketball Association. He is currently an assistant coach on the Milwaukee Bucks. He coached the Portland Trailblazers (1986-89) and Los Angeles Clippers (1990-92). He had a lifetime record of 179-159.

In his first year as coach of the Trailblazers, Schuler won the NBA Coach of the Year award. Ironically it is not that award that Schuler is most remembered for. Schuler is most remembered for falling out of his chair at the first press conference that introduced him to be the coach of the Trailblazers.
