Dritëro Agolli (born 1931) is an Albanian poet. He studied in Leningrad in the Soviet Union and wrote primarily poetry, but also short stories, essays, plays and romances.

He is mostly regarded as a poet, although he also wrote novels and short stories. One of his best novels is "Shkëlqimi dhe rënia e Shokut Zylo" (Uprise and fall of Comrade Zylo), a satire to the bureaucratic communist regime of Albania. Dritëro Agolli was member of the Albanian Parliament for several years and he is widely regarded as the "spiritual father" of the Albanian Socialist Party. Anyway, his figure as a poet is much more important that his figure as a politician.
